Westmount Jewellers – Shipping & Pickup Policy

1. Shipping Methods & Processing Times
  • Carriers: We ship all orders via Canada Post or FedEx, depending on size and value, ensuring secure and reliable delivery.
  • Processing Time:
    • Standard pieces: typically processed within 1–3 business days.
    • Modified items (e.g. resizing, engraving): may require additional 5–7 business days before dispatch.
2. Delivery Times
  • Within Canada: Estimated delivery is 3–7 business days once shipped.
  • Remote Areas or Add-ons: Delivery may be extended due to location or inclement weather; such delays are beyond our control.

3. Shipping Cost & Insurance
  • Standard Shipping Fee: $15 CAD flat rate for all orders across Canada.
  • Free Shipping: For orders over $200 CAD.
  • Optional Insurance: All shipments are insured but customers may opt for upgraded coverage at checkout for added peace of mind.

4. Signature Requirement & Delivery Security
  • Signature upon delivery is required for all shipments to ensure security and proper receipt.
  • P.O. Boxes: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, due to security and tracking limitations.
5. In-Store & Curbside Pickup
  • Local Pickup Option: Choose “Local Pickup” at checkout to pick up your order at our Edmonton showroom at no extra cost.
    • Pickup is available 1–2 business days after order confirmation via email notification.
    • The person picking up the order must present valid photo ID matching the purchase information.
6. Tracking & Notifications
  • You will receive:
    • A shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order is dispatched.
    • Pickup-ready notification when your order is available for store collection.
7. Delays & Claims
  • Westmount Jewellers is not responsible for delays caused by carriers (e.g. weather, strikes).
  • If your jewellery arrives damaged, please notify us immediately. Filing a claim with the carrier may be required.
